After I complete the online training, what else am I required to do to continue my Saskatchewan Class 1 driver training?

After you successfully complete all 11 Learning Paths (modules) online, you will be required to:

  1. Complete an in-person final exam at an SGI driver exam office. The final exam has 60 multiple choice questions and costs $25 per attempt. You can pay for and schedule the exam through licence issuer or MySGI.
  2. Complete 17.5 hours in-yard and 57 hours in-cab training at a certified Saskatchewan Class 1 driver training school. For details, pricing and scheduling for the in-yard and in-cab training, visit SGI’s website: www.sgi.sk.ca/drivereducator.

For more information on requirements to obtain a Saskatchewan Class 1 driver’s licence, visit SGI’s website: https://www.sgi.sk.ca/upgrade-to-commercial-licence.
