There’s an exam at the end of each Learning Path. You must achieve a mark of at least 80% on each exam to pass and for the online training to be considered complete. There is no limit on the number of times you may complete an exam at the end of the Learning Path, but if you’re having difficulty passing, you’re encouraged to review the applicable content before initiating a new exam.
Once you’ve completed the full MELT training (121.5 hours) you will need to pass a Class 1 road test, trip inspection test and practical air brake endorsement before qualifying for a Class 1A driver’s license.
